5 Things I Wish I Knew Before I Started Blogging

I’ve been blogging for at least six or seven years, and I still love it. Over the years, I started new blogs, met loads of amazing people and learned a lot of things.

For almost three years, I blogged in Dutch, which is my first language. I built a respectable audience with that blog and really enjoyed doing it, but decided Dutch was not the language I wanted to write in. That’s how Dalindcy.com was initially born – a self-help blog that won’t make you roll your eyes. I’ve never been more proud of a blog, I’ve got amazing readers and enjoy writing every single post.

This is the first video in a series about blogging for beginners. I also want to make a video about optimizing your blog for search engines, building an audience using Pinterest & StumbleUpon and how to make money blogging. Please subscribe so you won’t miss anything!

    1. I just looked at your blog and I really like it! One piece of advice I can give you is to make the homepage a little more coherent. When I clicked on it it took me a little while to figure out what type of blog you have and the things you write about. I would recommend having a short bio about you/your blog in the sidebar. I do really like your blog though!
